Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to and use of the HealthNext web and mobile application. By using an authorised account, a user agrees to follow these terms and the policies of the clinic that granted access.

Authorised use

HealthNext is provided for legitimate clinic administration and care-related workflows. Access is limited to users invited or approved by an authorised clinic or application administrator. An account may be used only by the person to whom it was assigned.

User obligations

  • Provide accurate information and keep it current.
  • Protect credentials, PINs, authenticator codes, devices, and exported records.
  • Access, change, export, or publish information only when authorised.
  • Verify clinical entries, prescriptions, bills, stock movements, reports, and public replies before completion.
  • Comply with applicable privacy, healthcare, employment, tax, payment, and recordkeeping requirements.

Prohibited conduct

  • Attempting to bypass access controls, inspect another clinic’s data, probe security, or disrupt the service.
  • Sharing accounts, impersonating another person, uploading malicious material, or using unlawfully obtained information.
  • Publishing patient details, confidential health information, or misleading statements in a public Google review reply.
  • Using automated access, extraction, or excessive traffic except through an expressly approved integration.

Clinical responsibility

HealthNext is a workflow and record-management tool, not a substitute for qualified clinical judgement, diagnosis, emergency care, or independent verification. The clinic and its professionals remain responsible for care decisions, prescriptions, communications, and statutory records.

Availability and changes

Features may change to improve safety, compliance, reliability, or usability. Maintenance, provider outages, connectivity, device limitations, or events outside reasonable control may affect availability. Clinics should maintain suitable downtime and continuity procedures.

Accounts, licensing, and suspension

Access may be limited or suspended when licensing expires, a clinic disables a module, an administrator removes permission, security is at risk, or these terms are breached. Ending access does not automatically remove records that a clinic must retain.

Integrations and third parties

Optional payment, Google Business Profile, authentication, and other integrations may be governed by their providers’ terms and availability. A clinic is responsible for enabling integrations, configuring authorised accounts, and reviewing information before it is shared or published.

Liability and review

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HealthNext is provided for authorised business use without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation. Mandatory rights and liabilities are not excluded. Clinics should have these terms reviewed and supplemented for their jurisdiction, contracting entity, support commitments, and subscription arrangements.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised when the service, safeguards, providers, or legal obligations change. Continued use after an updated effective date indicates acceptance where permitted by law.

These pages describe HealthNext’s current application practices. Each clinic should obtain independent legal and regulatory advice for its own operations.
