Payments
This page explains payment-related features in HealthNext. Charges for clinical services are set and collected by the relevant clinic; application licensing payments are separate.
Clinic bills and receipts
Clinics use HealthNext to prepare consultation, pharmacy, and miscellaneous bills, record payment methods, and issue receipts. The clinic is responsible for prices, taxes, discounts, patient details, service delivery, and the accuracy and legality of each bill.
Payment channels
- A clinic administrator may enable cash, bank transfer, card machine, UPI or QR, Razorpay, PhonePe, Paytm, or other supported channels per clinic or branch.
- The payment provider, bank, or clinic may apply its own terms, availability rules, charges, limits, and verification requirements.
- A successful screen or reference number should be checked against the provider or settlement record before goods or services are treated as paid.
Application licensing payments
Where online renewal is enabled, an authorised clinic user may pay the displayed HealthNext licensing amount through the configured provider. The application records successful and failed attempts and updates licensing only after payment confirmation is validated.
Failures, reversals, and duplicates
A pending, interrupted, or failed attempt is not proof of payment. Users should not repeat a charge until they check the provider and clinic records. If an account was debited without a confirmed receipt, the payer should contact the collecting clinic or payment provider with the transaction reference.
Refunds and billing corrections
The collecting clinic decides patient-bill corrections, cancellations, and refunds under its own policy and applicable law. Licensing refund eligibility depends on the agreed subscription or order terms. Payment-provider processing times may apply after a refund is approved.
Payment information and security
HealthNext stores payment status, method, references, totals, and audit details needed for clinic and licensing records. Card, bank, wallet, or UPI authentication may be collected directly by the configured payment provider. Users must not enter full card credentials, PINs, passwords, or one-time codes into free-text fields.
Disputes
For a patient bill, contact the clinic shown on the bill or receipt. For a provider-side debit, also contact the relevant bank or payment provider. Keep the bill number, date, amount, payment method, and transaction reference available without sharing passwords or one-time codes.
